Sound familiar?
- You copy prices from Shopify into texts and emails by hand
- Invoices and catalog get out of sync
- There’s no clear “this ticket is invoiced / paid” status
What IntoPaid does
- Pull products and variants from your live Shopify catalog
- Create a draft invoice tied to the ticket
- Customer pays through Shopify checkout
- Ticket updates when payment clears
Two checkouts, one store
Shopify is still Product → Cart → Checkout for ready-to-ship SKUs. Custom work never belonged in that cart. IntoPaid builds a draft invoice from the same catalog after the conversation.
Draft invoices, tied to the ticket
Pull products and variants, send the invoice, update the ticket when payment clears. No copy-paste prices into email.

FAQ
Questions about this workflow
How do Shopify custom orders work with IntoPaid?
Shopify is Product → Cart → Checkout for catalog SKUs. Custom work is conversation → ticket → quote → Shopify checkout. IntoPaid builds a draft invoice from your live catalog after the DM or email, then they pay in Shopify.
Does the customer pay inside IntoPaid?
No. They pay a Shopify invoice through Shopify checkout, the same as any other store invoice. IntoPaid creates the draft from the ticket so prices stay in your catalog. Customers do not need an IntoPaid login.
Can I use my existing Shopify products and variants?
Yes. Quotes pull live products, variants, and prices from the store you already run. You are not maintaining a second price list in a quote app.
What is a Shopify draft invoice on a custom order?
It is the checkout you send after the conversation. Lines come from the ticket, tied to catalog SKUs or custom lines you add, and the ticket updates when payment clears.
Can I change a custom order after the invoice is sent?
Yes. Edit items, pickup, or notes on the ticket and send a revised Shopify invoice. The original conversation stays attached so you are not quoting from a stale email.
Is this for made-to-order and wholesale as well as one-offs?
Yes — commissions, wedding work, CSA buckets, and wholesale stems all quote from the same Shopify catalog. Each ask is still one ticket with payment and pickup status.
Do I need a fake product page for custom work?
No. That is the point. Custom work should not pretend to be an add-to-cart SKU. Ticket the conversation, then send real Shopify checkout.
